App
Ahlan App is a social app created for Arab international students moving to London. It is meant to help students find their community and connect with people from their own culture. It also includes features such as a map showing Arab spots near them in London, helping them find places that feel like home. Moreover, it monitors students' well-being by allowing them to add a status update about how they are feeling, so friends can check in on them. Overall, it aims to make the move from their home countries into a foreign city easier.

Publication
Huwiyyati Magazine is a publication that encourages the Arab diaspora to express their cultural identity through traditional clothing, as reflected in its title, “Huwiyyati,” the Arabic word for “my identity.” The design of Huwiyyati intentionally resists Western conventions. Rather than adapting Arab content to Western design systems, it centres Arab visual language as the primary form of communication, aiming to empower the Arab graphic design industry and community. The publication comes with merchandise and features photographs taken in both Western and Arab settings to show the contrast in how the clothing feels in each. In an Arab setting, it feels complete within its environment; when worn in a Western setting, it becomes a statement. It emphasises how these garments are rooted in Arab culture by pairing historical photographs with textiles and interviews, allowing readers to understand their significance within Arab culture.
