By Saki Matsuura

Publication

Print Gocco is a self-contained household screen printer invented by Riso Kagaku Corporation, which was widely popular in the 1980s in Japan. A life-sized paper model mimics the anatomy of Print Gocco, inviting the audience to flip through its fascinating mechanism. The B6-sized booklet accompanies the paper model, explaining the history and its significance for Japanese self-publishing culture.
