Breathe Better at the Bus Stop
By Jack Brodie
Digital displayBus stops are often placed on polluted roads, but air quality data is usually too broad or technical to help people while waiting. Even around the same bus stop, significantly cleaner air can be just a few steps away, but passengers will only move if the advice is simple, immediate, and does not risk missing their bus. I designed a working digital bus stop display that combines multiple real-time data sources to identify the cleanest nearby place to wait.
