Beyond the Canon

This publication explores graphic design beyond dominant Western frameworks, examining how certain design principles and histories have come to be treated as universal within the discipline. Through research into alternative visual traditions and cultural perspectives, the project questions established narratives and considers how graphic design can be understood through a broader range of contexts. The publication aims to open space for diverse voices, approaches, and ways of seeing within contemporary design discourse.
