CueMug

CueMug addresses the critical issue of kitchen fire risks caused by memory lapses among older adults. By embedding a gentle visual reminder into the handle of a daily-use mug, the design subtly links hydration with stove safety. The project combines behavioral psychology, inclusive design, and low-tech intervention to deliver a non-intrusive reminder system. CueMug represents a human-centered approach that prioritizes dignity, routine, and intuitive design'offering a practical solution to an often-overlooked yet dangerous domestic problem.
