Collective Overload

Focused on interpreting design through neurodivergent experiences, Collective Overload is a research project, mapping testimonials on sensory overload in everyday life and a designed experience that honours the messiness of sensory overload. This project uses the tactility of the senses and graphic design, to highlight these often invisible sensations, giving voice to the everyday challenges neurodivergent people navigate. Rather than flatten these accounts into neat data, the book, 'This Might Overwhelm You' creates a space for their visceral, emotional complexity, encouraging a dialogue on what true sensory inclusive design could be.
