My designs explore the cultural transformation of Brick Lane in Spitalfields over time, comparing its historical character as the as the heart of Banglatown with its contemporary identity. Through contrasting visuals, the project highlights the shift from the area's traditional atmosphere to its increasingly modern and commercialised landscape. The work encourages viewers to reflect on how Brick Lane's aesthetic, community, and cultural identity have evolved while considering what has been gained and lost through these changes.
